Our Infrastructure Services division operates three business units: Road Services; Infrastructure Projects and Utilities.
As we continue our evolution of growth and innovation, the best people are critical to our success in supporting our customers and catering to market demands.
Due to continued growth our Infrastructure Projects business are now seeking to engage the capability of an experienced Environmental Advisor based from our Brisbane office. Working on a variety of civil infrastructure projects you will play a key role within the construction team ensuring the delivery of project environmental services including roadside vegetation, waste and natural management.
ABOUT YOU
- Demonstrated capability in civil construction
- Tertiary qualification/s in the fields of environmental engineering, environmental science, statutory or strategic planning, environmental management or related discipline
- Willingness and flexibility to travel to/from project sites based in Dalby, Miles etc.
- Experience in working on DTMR projects
- Experience in program development, planning and policy formulation and implementation
- Experience in working cooperatively with the community, and other stakeholders to achieve organisational outcomes
- Knowledge of the current legislative environment as it applies to the responsibilities of the position
- High level written and verbal communication skills and a high level of negotiation skills and the ability to resolve problems with innovation
- Tertiary qualifications in the fields of environmental engineering, environmental science, statutory or strategic planning, environmental management or related discipline
- Initiative, motivated & self-driven.
