ABOUT THE ROLE
As Site Supervisor/Foreman you will report directly to the Operations Supervisor in a hands-on role that is responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of mobile crushing sites around metropolitan Melbourne. This role is best suited to an experienced leader from the quarry and/or concrete recycling industry.
To be successful in this position you will possess the following skills and attributes:
• Understanding of both hard rock crushing and concrete recycling plant/processes.
• Exceptional attitude towards implementing safety and quality management systems.
• Competent operation of a variety of earth moving and recycling equipment.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Effective communication skills to manage various site operations, supplies, subcontractors and personnel.
Key responsibilities include:
• Project management, performance and reporting.
• Directing and managing day-to-day site operations.
• Fill site operational roles as necessary - fixed plant, mobile plant etc.
• Complete site administration tasks daily - pre-start meetings, SWMS, production sheets etc.
• Liaise closely with the Operations Supervisor.
• Liaise closely with Quarry Managers and/or Leading Hands.
• Maintain processing and production of the site.
• Organise and manage Site Personnel
• Ensure implementation of certified management systems - quality, safety and environmental.
• Ensure all OH&S, EPA and other site compliance obligations are fulfilled.

A valid driver’s licence, relevant plant operator tickets and the ability to pass a pre-employment medical check, including a drug and alcohol test, are mandatory requirements.
