Your New Employer is a world leading provider of integrated logistics, automation & materials handling systems. Internationally it is growing well, and so too is the Australian and New Zealand arm located in Sydney. Their growth is resultant on leveraging their innovative technology & international success. An opportunity has arisen for a Safety Engineer to enter the organisation.
In your new role you will be working within the company to ensure that safety standards are being met at all levels of the company. This will involve ensuring the highest level of safety in a manufacturing environment and also in a construction environment at Greenfield sites. You will provide management and direction to all employees and contractors as related to safety policy and concerns. Your role will involve conducting safety audits at these sites and also preparing safety documentation to comply with any and all government authorities.
You will be an experienced safety professional with a degree in Electrical/Mechatronics/Mechanical Engineering or relevant tertiary qualification. You will have several years experience and responsibility for Workplace, Health and Safety. You may be early in your career looking for a great opportunity with a global industry leader or you may be at or near retirement and wanting to continue to make an important contribution to a growing company. Prior experience in manufacturing and construction safety is also required for the role.
The role can be part-time permanent or full time permanent ranging from 3-5 days a week. If you prefer a contract/consulting relationship that would be considered for the role.
