Our Civil Engineering group, delivers a diverse range of infrastructure projects across the State including $50 million plus major infrastructure projects. Our industry capabilities are diverse and include Defence, roads and transport, mining, oil and gas, water, power and industrial projects.
We are currently seeking a professional and experienced estimator to join our Civil Engineering division based at our refurbished Head Office in Dry Creek, Adelaide.
Reporting to the Divisional Manager, the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for preparing comprehensive cost analysis and estimates for civil and remediation tenders.
Ideal Candidates
The candidate will possess the appropriate tertiary qualifications with experience in a similar role, and will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Preparation of project "take-offs"
- Cost estimating and preparation of all relating tender documents
- Submission of detailed bids
- Liaising with clients, suppliers and other key stakeholders
- Provide detailed handovers to the Civil project team
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work autonomously on multiple projects
- Work in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines
