Your new company
My client is a well-established Tier 2 Apartment builder with over 15 years’ experience in constructing high rise, challenging projects within Melbourne’s CBD and inner suburbs. With 2 up and coming high profile projects secured, they are looking for a Site Manager to assist the Project Managers in the delivery of a $20M project based in the inner northern suburbs.
Your new role
- Effectively implement and manage OH+S procedures on-site.
- Work closely with the Client, Architect, Designers and Engineers.
- Documentation and scheduling with Microsoft Project.
- Procure building materials, plant and equipment hire and effectively manage site resources.
- Quality assurance on all stages through construction.
- Liaise with senior management to ensure projects are completed on-time and cost-effectively.
- Experience in piling, excavation, shotcrete, anchors and superstructure experience has been specified as essential.
What you'll need to succeed
- 5+ years’ experience delivering Apartment projects with an established Melbourne tier 2/3 builder.
- Tertiary qualification relevant to Construction or carpentry trade qualification.
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
