Project Manager – D&C Projects – Melbourne

As the Project Manager you will ideally have a strong Contract Administration background and proven D&C experience focusing on delivering a wide portfolio of projects throughout the City. You will be expected to hit the ground running, getting heavily involved in pre-construction and helping manage a team of 5-10 ready for site commencement. This is a rare opportunity to join a growing business with great prospects. 
   
Responsibilities: 

• Work closely with architecture & design teams from concept to completion to ensure successful delivery of clients original idea. 
• Produce procurement schedules and procure all materials in conjunction with Site Manager.
• Produce design programme in conjunction with the design department.
• Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety Plan.
• Produce quality plan and ensure the correct standard is maintained throughout the project.
• Strong input into commercial control, minimise risk and variations
• Attend weekly site meeting and issue weekly project report.
• Provide formal project feedback

Essential requirements: 

• Proven track record in project management within the construction industry
• Healthcare, Education, and high rise experience preferred 
• Minimum of 4yrs contract administration experience
• Current employment with a main contractor
• 8+ years delivering high spec, high value projects within Australia
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Self-motivation and a desire to succeed.
• Ability to work as part of a team, as well as under own initiative.
• Eligible to work full time within Australia
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant subject beneficial
