Corplex is a growing and dynamic privately owned construction company. Corplex has managed a varying array of projects, including large purpose-built warehouses, commercial showrooms, multi unit showroom/warehouse complexes, office and showroom refurbishments, Government funded school projects and community centre's.

Due to continuous growth, we are seeking for an experienced Site Manager working in Commercial/Industrial projects to be part of a highly experienced team. You will be responsible for taking projects right from inception through to final handover. This is an amazing opportunity to take full ownership of the construction process, with the full support of a dedicated team.

About the role:

Seeking for a Site Manager who is comfortable managing all aspects of site activity from initial stage to client handover. Reporting directly to the Construction Manager your day to day duties will include:

• Site set out and establishment
• Read and interpret construction plans
• Highly effective in planning, organising and problem solving skills
• Short-term construction programming
• Holding site and toolbox meetings
• Direct staff management and delegation
• Manage OH&S on site / inductions of new people to site
• Monitor and manage all project activities of sub-contractors in relation to progress, budget and work quality to ensure they are completed to required standards
• Problem solving and dispute resolution

The successful applicant will be responsible for the supervision of Commercial/Industrial projects and will need to possess the following:

• Qualification in Building or Construction Management or Similar
• Trade background
• Minimum of 5 years experience in the day to day management of Commercial/Industrial projects through to delivery
• Proven experience managing sub-contractors to ensure delivery of projects within specific timelines
• Excellent attention to detail and ensure highest quality finish on each project
• Competent in reading plans
• Ability to communicate, influence and build effective relationships at all levels of the business
