We have grown into a highly successful company boasting an annual turnover of 20 million dollars and a personnel base of over 20 staff. Our group actively specialises in the following areas;
- Commercial refurbishment, extensions, and fitout with a history of projects ranging from $25,000.00 through to $4,000.000.00
- New commercial construction projects ranging in value from $250,000.00 to approximately $5,000,000.00 Property maintenance and minor works with projects ranging from only a few thousand dollars up to $1,000,00

About the role
The role will entail working closely with the Project team, managing all aspects of one of our project. We are looking for a individual who can lead the project through construction and drive to completion on time.
To be shortlisted for this role you will be required to have the following;
Manage and co-ordinate project employees/trades and all onsite activitie
A good understanding of OH&S processes including ensuring that safety of workers is guaranteed at all times, toolbox talks, site inductions etc
Manage on site subcontractors with a keen interest in maintaining established working relationships
Manage program, workflows, material deliveries with the drive to keep on time and budget
Hands on approach to carpentry work
Guidance and training of Apprentices
Excellent communication skills would be essential within all areas of the business.

Skills and experience
To be considered for this position you will have:
- Min 2 years experience as a working foreman
- Trade qualified carpenter (essential)
- White card (essential)
- Working knowledge of the mainly Commercial and also Residential Building Industry would be highly regarded.
- An Understanding of OHS
- Strong communication and resolution skills
- An ability to manage and liaise with Subcontractors and Clients on site
- Own tools
- Transport can be negotiated for the right person.
