About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (Mobile Deployment) to manage LTE (Macro cells) and fibre optic rollout projects.
In this role you will be responsible for the following:
- Assessing structures, mounts, fixings, etc.;
- Undertaking visual condition assessments of building elements including roofing;
- Undertaking visual condition assessments of external structures including poles;
- Asset management planning;
- Project managing civil works and fibre optic works;
- Aware of BTS and DC rack installation, Commission, and Integration (including Drive/Handover Test, and Fault Find/Rectification);
- Managing on site activities from construction to integration and commissioning;
- Aware of different types of testing, finding faults and work on resolving them (PIM testing, VSWR and DTF);
- Managing build contractors and their deliverables (schedule, HOP, etc.);
- Aware of core testing and requirements;
About the Person
The successful candidate must possess the following:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Telecommunications Engineering (preferable);
- Project management experience in civil works;
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role;
- Technical document writing skills;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Sound asset management planning background;
- Prepared to put in the hard yards and involve yourself in all parts of the role;
- Ability to work with minimal supervision;
- Highly organised and strong attention to detail.
