About The Role

Our client based in the Inner Western Suburbs requires a Regional Sales Manager - Southern Region to take on a full range of operation and business development and create clear lines of communication to provide visibility to the greater business. Your account management skills and greater technical understanding of the company’s wide range of products to market will directly contribute to the regions success, your line of report will be through the Australian Manager to the Company Director. This is an exciting role which utilise your industry knowledge, business acumen and proven record of achievements in sales & strategy and personal motivation to get results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new markets and drive business activities across Victoria.
  • Promote the innovative technical solutions the client can provide to both the construction and Logistic industries.
  • Sustain existing client relationships at a high level.
  • Roll-out execution plans to achieve the Company’s strategic vision and goals.
  • Ensure tendering process follows Company Policy and is reviewed periodically with the marketing process to ensure high performance levels.

About You

If you are currently a highly successful Business Development Manager and you are looking for long term opportunities and the ability to grow a successful business locally, then this company could be a perfect fit. Your proven individual results in sales and account management will give you the best chance for success.

You will have sound knowledge in the construction industry and have an understanding the big players. You will have Sales experience, with future aspirations of being a people leader. It is essential that you have a pro-active, hands on approach to building business as you will be required to manage and report on all of the local operations through the National General Manager to your Director overseas . A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Industrial/Warehouse Concrete Flooring or aligned trade paired with an understanding of floor flatness & knowledge of the logistics industry and demonstrated skill in business development and account management. For your success in this role it is vital that you possess a positive can do attitude, technical know-how, hunger, drive to succeed, clear and natural communication skills and the ability to lead and inspire your team.
