Roblawmax is partnered with a major multi-disciplinary construction business currently delivering billions in infrastructure projects across Australia. They are currently driving a promising tender and require a Procurement Specialist to assist in seeing it through to submission over the coming 4 months, with a view to move into permanent if successful.
In this role, you will:
- Provide Procurement services and assistance throughout the tender process
- Source and identify suppliers of goods and materials
- Manager RFPs/RFQs
- Review and recommend supplier contract terms
- Ensure procurement guidelines are followed
Key requirements for this position:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Commerce or Quantity Surveying
- Possess at least 5 years Procurement experience in major construction projects
- Possess proven exposure to major tender processes on mega projects
- Have good communications skills, both written and verbal
- Previous experience working in a multi-disciplinary project environment
- Willing to work a 5:2 (Mon – Fri) roster to Sydney
The position will compensate a strong contract rate for the initial 4 months circa $800 - $1000 per day pending experience level, with a view to extension or permanent options thereafter. Flights and accommodation will be provided.
