ABOUT US

Our international teams build roads, ports, airports, infrastructure and property in the transport infrastructure, water, energy and telecommunications sectors.

We have a strong Australasian footprint, employing over 7,000 people.

THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor for our Victorian telecommunication infrastructure business.

Reporting to the Senior HSE Advisor, you will be responsible for providing operational HSE advice and activities, document control, demonstrating safety leadership, as well as driving compliance with HSE legislation and contractual obligations for projects.

We're not looking for a safety 'policeman', rather; we need someone who works collaboratively with field staff (and clients) and supports them to get the job done as safely as possible, whilst also ensuring that all relevant legislative requirements and internal paperwork are completed.

This will suit someone who has a genuine passion for safety, and eye for detail, and wants to advance their career in HSE with a tier 1 contractor.

This role will be based out of our Campbellfield facility.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Relevant Qualification in Occupational Health and Safety
  • Relevant experience in the construction industry
  • Preferably ICAM lead investigator
  • Cert IV in Training and Assessor
  • Ability to function unsupervised, working to tight deadlines
  • Proficient user of the Microsoft Office Suite in particular Word and Excel
  • Proven ability to engage, coach and foster relationships at all levels of an organisation
  • Current First Aid certificate

BENEFITS

We offer an attractive salary for the position including full maintained vehicle, and the opportunity to work on interesting and ongoing projects with a motivated team of successful professionals.
