Purpose of the Role
Based in Dalby, you will be responsible for managing construction projects, and providing leadership within the project management team. This role is critical in the delivery of Council's works programs.
Reporting to the Works Manager - Construction, you will:
- Lead and manage a range of technical, operational and administration staff;
- Project manage and deliver the departments civil construction and maintenance programs;
- Improve work practices and systems to achieve a high level of efficiency and industry best practice;
- Assist in the management of Council's transport infrastructure including approvals & permits;
- Provide financial management by controlling the department's budget, projects & external contracts;
About You
To be a successful applicant, you will have:
- a Bachelor of Engineering Technology, or equivalent related experience; and
- demonstrated experience in undertaking project management and management programs.
