About the role

Due to the growth of the business, we have an opportunity for a HSEQ Advisor to join our team working on a diverse range of operational portfolios. You will be required to provide integrated health & safety solutions to heavy industrial entities for large scale Industrial demolition and remediation projects. There is currently a role in western Sydney ready for immediate start for the right applicant.

Job tasks and responsibilities

• Implementing WH&S procedures based on company policies
• Working in the field providing support to our work teams
• Incident investigation and recommending actions to prevent future occurrences
• Providing support, and coordination on WHS  practices, systems and procedures both on site and office based when required
• Maintaining comprehensive WHS records and supporting all statutory WHS reporting requirements
• Environmental duties
• Implement training activities and coordinate when required
• Developing site based relationships, inclusive of the Sub-Contractors
• Ensuring up to date knowledge of all relevant legal, regulatory and company WHS requirements

Skills and experience

As the successful candidate you are expected to be:

• Deadline driven with the ability to prioritise tasks;
• A strong communicator with effective interpersonal skills;
• Accurate and attentive to detail;
• A team player with the ability to work well collaboratively as well as autonomously;
• Cert IV in WHS
• Construction WHS
• Ability to communicate effectively to drive positive WHS outcomes
• Cert V in Workplace Training desirable
