Role
Cardno is seeking both senior surveyors and registered surveyors with 5+ years’ experience, to support our Geospatial division in Rockdale. You will undertake cadastral surveys for subdivisions, boundary markings, easements etc. This will include control surveys, topographic surveys and construction set out surveys. We currently have many large and interesting projects for experienced surveyors to come in and hit the ground running using all the latest technology.
  

The Opportunity

• Lead a team of Surveyors and Draftsmen undertaking ongoing major projects, subdivision work on multiple projects for Government bodies and some of Australia’s top developers
• Undertake various Engineering surveys as required for local projects
• Prepare survey plans in AutoCAD and Civil CAD
• Demonstrate efficiency by managing your time to meet deadlines
• Liaise with Survey Project Managers, clients and external stakeholders
• Be involved in supervising and mentoring junior surveyors and assistants

  
To be Successful

• Degree or Advanced Diploma of Surveying
• Registration with NSW Board of Surveyors (desirable)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience, working on local projects
• Sound knowledge of AutoCAD, 12D and Civil CAD software, as well as hands on use with Leica and Trimble
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
