Contracts Administrator required for an immediate permanent opportunity. The successful Contracts Administrator will the first appointment within a new project delivery team being set up due to continued organic growth in this large, national commercial builder. The company has secured 4 new projects and the pipeline is as strong as it has been in years- there are 2 upcoming large CBD refurbs in the $30 Million bracket with an additional $9 Million build also an option - all in the commercial space.

They specialise in both New Build and Refurbishment / Fit Out and they take on projects in hospitality, commercial offices, government, health, and niche office spaces (think Google and Facebook)

THE PERSON:

You could be slotting onto either a $30 Million project or a $10 Million project (both close to planning stage) in the commercial space and we are looking at candidates who are experienced, stand alone Contracts Administrators taking of taking a lead role on the projects. Previous experience delivering refurb / fit out or new build projects in the $5 Million  - $30 Million bracket

• Tertiary Qualification / Trade in a construction related discipline
• Must be a confident relationship builder as the bulk of work is repeat client
• 2 – 5 years as a Contracts Administrator
• Confident working on a wide range of projects as the portfolio is diverse
• Must have local Australian experience and a knowledge of local sub contractors
• Must share the companies passion for quality construction
  May suit a candidate looking to step up into a structured, systems driven builder
• Assist in building the Construction delivery Teams for NSW

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Scopes of work, procurement, negotiating and recommendations
• Complete ownership of all projects under your control from a Cost Perspective
• Formulate and lodge Client progress payment claims
• Price variations and process variations orders
• Leading and mentoring of more junior staff
• Attend and participate in review meetings
• All costing, budgets and financial reporting

   
Salary will be dependent on the level of experience but as a guide will be in the $100K - $140K mark with excellent benefits and perks that I can go on application.
