About the Role

Reporting directly to the National Project Manager, the incumbent is responsible for providing financial and contractual support to the project and program management team across all construction works to manage the risk profile and financial performance.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Review design documentation and develop cost plan in conjunction with the Project Manager to assess feasibility and build ability implications during conceptual design stage
  • Maintain and benchmark current cost schedule information on market trends and rates in the market place
  • Assist the project team tendering and procuring; including contract frameworks, tender preparation, pre-qualification stage, tender list, preliminaries, tender analysis, tendor report and compiling contractual documents
  • Maintain and benchmark current contractor performance issues in the market place
  • Provide contractor’s performance input on administration for Supplier Relationships Management
  • Reporting, including project budget cost plans, tracking variation register, budget vs actual/forecast weekly project cost report(s)

Skills & experience

  • Cost management experience
  • Contract management experience
  • Knowledge of quantity surveying
  • Knowledge of contract administration
  • Excellent communication, time management and stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge of retail fit-out environment and fuel systems desirable
