OUR CLIENT
Due to ongoing success, a well-known Bathurst based organisation is seeking a passionate and professional Project Manager to join their team.
This will appeal to a Manager who is seeking a new challenge and is keen for career growth whilst enjoying a regional lifestyle. You will join a diverse and supportive work environment and have the ability to make the role 'your own'.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will oversee all client projects with the goal of delivering every assignment on time, within budget and within scope.
Working closely with the leadership team your responsibilities will include:
- Review job briefs
- Manage and order supplies, negotiate terms of agreement and obtain necessary permits and licenses
- Liaise with subcontractors and trades people to ensure the project is running smoothly and efficiently
- Prepare schedules and manage project budgets
- Engage and develop relationships with all client stakeholders and report on each progress stage
- Manage project risks, including the development of contingency plans
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- On-the-job experience within the construction industry
- Completed qualifications in the Construction field (trade or university)
- Proven examples of managing projects to schedule and within budget
- On-site safety experience
- Strong work ethic and career ambition
- Customer focused with excellent communication
- Attention to detail with strong analytical, reporting and computer skills
- Willing to travel (as required)
