Your new company
This residential construction company builds over 500 homes a year and has a major market share in the Geelong / Surf Coast urban development boom.
Your new role
Reporting to the Estimating Manager, this role will look after contract/custom homes project from ‘Tendering’ stage to ‘Pre-Construction’ stage.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providing tender price for contract housing and custom housing designs.
- Raising variation (tender / post contract).
- Assisting colour consultants for colour quotes.
- Consolidating tender at ‘Development Approval’ stage.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience as an Estimator in Residential construction (Production / Sales Estimator) Intermediate level in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- BusinessCraft, Timberline, HMS, Databuild or Precision software experience
- Analytical and methodical
- Previous sales estimating experience with a large homebuilder is ideal, however will consider estimators from smaller construction firms or building product suppliers
