Project Manager – Construction – CONTRACT

The role of the Project Manager is to oversee each project from sales handover to completion, interfacing with both construction professionals and the client.
- Responsibilities:
- Scheduling of projects, including our sub-contractors work schedule
- Communicating with clients regarding timeline, details etc
- Communicating with installers and deal with any issues that arise in a timely manner
- Ability to cope with a number of projects at once
- Organise logistics of materials to site and coordinate with suppliers
- Able to make decisions on the spot regarding any phase of the build
- Communicate with internal drafting/engineering team regarding details on projects
- Able to provide the necessary OHS documents relating to the project.
- Travel around Victoria, sometimes up the East Coast to visit sites, sort issues etc
Experience needed:
- At least 7-10 years experience in project management, including steel erection
- Able to read and understand Building codes and working drawings/ contracts
- Experience with IT, including 3-D models
- Efficient with email communication
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, equipment
