ABOUT US:

THE ROLE:
We are currently looking for an experienced Estimator to join our dynamic, close-knit team located in our head office in St Leonards.
Reporting to the Estimating Manager, your duties include but are not limited to:
- Prepare tenders and costings
- Providing bills of quantities and variations
- Source and analyse quotes from sub-contractors and material suppliers to ensure best prices are achieved
- Liaising closely with site supervisors to ensure forward planning and schedules
- Issue purchase orders to suppliers and sub-contractors
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Ideally have a minimum of 3 years’ solid experience in Estimating
- Ability to interpret building plans & specifications
- Experience Estimating on Retail, Education, Commercial, Government projects up to $15m+
- Qualification in Building & Construction / Quantity Surveying or Trade Certificate
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management and organisation skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills with the ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgement
