Construction Project Coordinator
Salary offered: $ 66560 plus Super
Full-Time Position
Brosna Town Construction Pty Ltd are looking for a responsible Coordinator to administer and organise various Civil Construction works at several sites throughout Sydney.
This is a long-term role and require genuine applicants seeking long-term employment. This is essential to maintain a continuing professional point of contact within our firm for Tiers 1, 2 & 3 contractors.
Your roles will include the following duties:
- Developing in-depth understanding of various projects, their scope and i.e. timeframes, financials, outcomes.
- Maintain project documentation, review and discuss any changes or variations, analyse risks and prepare reports as required
- Act as the point of contact and communicate project status and progress. Respond and handle any issues that arise and respond to all requests from management and/or main contractor with regards to project progression, variations to plans and/or contracts and compile detailed reports weekly.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation from various work sites.
- Liaise with management, supervisors, main contractors and trades workers to ensure project objectives are goals are met and ensure projects are on time and within budget
- Identify and define requirements, scope and objectives and compile reports accordingly and advise senior management and/or main contractors and advise on effective ways and methods to address matters requiring attention.
- Coordinate project schedules, resources and equipment and ensure standards and requirements are met. Observe the work of employees and contractors to ensure they are suitably qualified and adhere and understand OH&S on site.
- Share relevant documentation and reports with project teams and provide information and regular support
- Ensuring resources and equipment are always available
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Coordinator or similar role
- Solid communication and organisational skills, including multitasking and time-management
- Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
- Degree in Management or similar
