Health and Safety Coordinator | Rail Infrastructure
Would you like to work on some of Sydney's most important rail infrastructure projects? A growing rail construction contractor is looking for a Health and Safety Coordinator to be the linchpin of safety on-site.

About the role:
You will be reporting to the Health and Safety Manager and this role will be based both on-site and in the office. Your daily responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following;
- Advise the management team on ways to minimise safety risks
- Develop and enforce OSH policies (e.g. accident reporting process)
- Direct accident investigation procedures
- Keep records of safety-related incidents and propose corrective actions
- Organize and conduct OSH training plans
- Work with the management team to ensure any compliance and safety issues are monitored and rectified.
- Intervene in unsafe activities or operations
- Liaise with and report to official regulatory bodies on OSH matters
What will you need?
- Ideally, you will have worked on the rail network previously (this is not imperative)
- You should have safety experience within construction (essential)
- You MUST have Cert IV
- You should have the character to be able to enforce change when that needs to happen.
