The Maintenance and Industrial Services Division provides comprehensive multidisciplinary maintenance and improvement solutions including maintenance services, sustaining and minor capital works, shutdowns and operations and facilities management for the resources and energy sectors.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing advice and assistance to all levels of management and personnel on safety management
- Assisting in identifying hazards and establishing suitable controls and procedures for HSE management
- Actively promoting understanding and adherence to HSE management systems requirements
- Participating and leading as required in regular HSE meetings
- Investigating incidents and providing recommendations
- Coordinating training and analysis of HSE performance related to the projects/ operation
- Providing inductions and HSE training as needed to site personnel
- Responsible to guarantee the business complies with all standards and management plans
- Visiting sites and advising/ supporting on all HSE and compliance requirements
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- A diploma or tertiary qualification in WHS
- Relevant industry experience as a HSE Advisor within the construction/maintenance industry
- Experience with the facilitation of incident investigations - Taproot, ICAM or S2 highly desirabl
- A strong understanding and working knowledge of HSE legislation, Australian Standards and Codes of Practice
- Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills with a strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
- Experience in behaviour based safety programs
