The Company:

Our client is one of Melbourne’s leading mid-sized Medium Density builders who are recognized for their impressive portfolio of privately-built developments – typically up-to 75 units. They have built their reputation on delivering quality townhouses and due to their continued growth and success are currently looking to grow their tight-knit operations team. Their business is built around culture and ensuring every member of the team is well-engaged and working towards their career goals.
  
Your New Role:

As a Medium Density Estimator, your key accountabilities will include:

• Estimate builder’s quantities and prepare tenders
• Manage the tender process, contract administration & client relationships
• Schedule building resources to meet project requirements and support site teams in technical issues
• A strong understanding of building and construction process and
  working knowledge of the Australian Building Code and regulations.
• Liaised closely with the client and contractor regarding both progress and
  performance on the site.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Demonstrated experience in a Project Estimating role. Working for a Victorian residential or commercial builder.
• Knowledge of Residential building codes and guidelines
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency using Databuild or similar software is preferred but not essential
• Organisational skills with a strong ability to multi-task across a variety of activity
• Diploma of Building or equivalent tertiary qualification is advantageous but not required
