SITE SUPERVISOR | RESIDENTIAL BUILDER | SOUTH EAST METRO MELBOURNE

ABOUT
My client are a residential new home builder who specialise in spec homes, custom builds and medium density townhouse developments focusing their business in the East and South East metro regions.

Due to builds ready to start and with a healthy pipeline of homes on the way they are looking to bring on board an experienced Site Supervisor for their South Eastern jobs.

CAREER DEVELOPMENT/OPPORTUNITY
You will report into the Construction Manager and work within a team of 5 Supervisors to deliver spec homes, custom builds and medium density townhouse developments.
  
You will receive the support needed from your Construction Manager to perform your role focusing on delivering quality builds.

Building process coaching and mentoring will be available to help you develop your career.

DUTIES

• Supervising all work carried out on 12 – 15 builds.
• Interpreting building plans, regulations, codes of practice, labour control and material deliveries in order to direct progress of work and monitor compliance with construction documents.
• Negotiating with sub-contractors and coordinating their presence on site.
• Scheduling and coordinating trades on job sites
• Arranging supplies of materials and equipment and verifying delivery
• Be the main point of contact for clients on site.

SKILL AND EXPERIENCE

• Tertiary or trade qualification in building and construction or similar discipline.
• Previous experience in a similar role with experience delivering custom/knock down rebuilds
• Excellent communication skills with high attention to detail.
• A technical understanding of all facets of the building process
• Holder of a White card.

SALARY
$85,000 - $110,000 + Super + Car
