About
As the Project Manager you will be responsible for managing projects from award of contract through to design, construction, commissioning and operation The project management role is working with an Australian company that is expanding and increasing their presence due to a number of project expansions. The role is offering security, top end salary and career progression. This company have a presence throughout Australia as a leader in the provision of petroleum services and engineered environmental solutions. Whom are now expanding the current project delivery team whom are involved with the management of water treatment projects within Adelaide due to the increase in secured projects. 
 
The Project Manager will be responsible for:

• Set roles and responsibilities for Project Managers, Engineers and Supervisors
• Maintain strong communication between all stakeholders to ensure projects are met
• Review monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting and capital expenditure for the water projects
• Approve and monitor QHSE plans
• Attend project set-up and kick-off meetings
• Preform WHS and quality inspections
• Promote the ‘Start Safe Stay Safe’ program management system

Your background and experience will include:

• Mechanical, Civil or Environmental qualifications
• Experience within engineered environmental solutions is desirable
• 5+ years’ experience in the construction industry- dealing with multi-million dollar projects
• A sound understanding and knowledge of construction principles in multi-discipline contracting environment
• Excellent leadership and people management skills
• Strong systems, operational, financial, resource planning and reporting skills
• Sound written and verbal communication skills
