About the business and the role

GC&J Constructions are a well established family owned and operated business. As a significant South Australian builder we have consistently provided exceptional commercial construction solutions to our clients on projects up to $20M. 

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the construction of commercial projects. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
 

Job tasks and responsibilities

• Provide management support to the Project Manager;
• Manage RFI process;
• Liaise with Project Manager regarding potential variations;
• Ensure site WHS including undertaking site inductions and QA measures are maintained;
• Ensure project is built on time and as per contract documents

Skills and experience

• Experience as a Site Manager in commercial construction particularly aged care and educational facilities.
• Trade background preferred with a strong record of monitoring, managing and complying with 3rd party accredited WHS and Quality Assurance systems.
• You will be self-motivated, resilient and enjoy working in a close team environment, whilst displaying good leadership and communications skills, with a high commitment to customer service.
• Proven ability in coordinating and managing subcontractors and suppliers, while ensuring their compliance with company and contract documentation.
• Police and DCIS clearance required.
