Project Manager
Description:
A leading Tier 3, Civil Construction business with a professional and good standing in the industry is currently enjoying a significant growth and seeking to compliment it's team with a skilful, capable & experienced Project Manager in civil construction.
As a Senior Project Manager, you must be self-motivated, eager, diligent and passionate in managing and mentoring your team of engineers over various projects across Sydney. You will be motivating & training the team of engineers, alongside the General Manager. You are responsible for cash flow, project budgeting, scheduling and directing the construction team whilst managing all client expectations and relations. A minimum of 3 years in a Senior position is required.
An understanding and ability to respond to company structure and systems, together with knowledge of various construction methodologies and an ability to think outside of the square in providing engineering solutions is a must.
Safety, Quality and Environmental Management are a key and integral and mandatory for this position.
You will be responding to the General Manager.
The successful applicant must demonstrate the following competencies:
- Strong inter-personal skills
- Sound verbal & written communication skills.
- Client management and appeasement.
- Meet deadlines for clients and senior management.
- Competency in Project Programming, Budget Control & Reporting
- Materials and subcontractor procurement
- Leading and directing the construction team
- Solid understanding of WHS, Environmental & Quality requirements
- Knowledgeable in civil construction methodologies
- Competency in reading and understanding construction drawings
- Contract Administration duties
- Tertiary accreditation in Civil Engineering, Senior Project Management is preferred.
