With a healthy pipeline of projects and commitment to deliver further projects along the eastern seaboard over the next 10 years, Scape is looking to on-board an experienced Regional Project Manager to coordinate projects in their NSW region. Partnering with leading education institutes and pledging to deliver contemporary accommodation encompassing modern living for their clients, this certainly is a forward thinking and industry leading organisation to be a part of. 

As the Regional Project Manager you will be involved with the full cycle of the development process with strong emphasis on front line construction, collaboration with planners, Development Management, Construction and Feasibility. You will be supporting Scape’s Development Director and reporting to them on all project and construction related matters. 

Key responsibilities include: 

• Management of the NSW Development Team including in house design team.
• You will support the acquisitions team by providing financial and built form advice.
• Formulate Project Development Plan detailing site use, construction and development cost and programme outlay.
• Cooperation with Local Government officials including leading the coordination of zoning matters.
• Management of construction delivery and design schedules including managing the professional design team.
• Preparation of development contract tender information.
• Recruitment of specialist consultants as well as contractors, sub-contractors and 3rd party merchants.
• Ensure the collaboration of all parties are in alignment with project budget and schedule.
• Manage and oversee direct construction from concept to completion.
• Manage the projects Variation procedure and report any contract variation to the Development Director.

This is a unique opportunity for a Senior Project Manager or Project Superintendent with at least 5 years proven experience in construction management or construction related Project management to join a successful and industry progressing team. You will have solid understanding of all facets of the construction process and experience in delivering residential, commercial and retail and significant land development projects. You will be able to demonstrate past successful DA approvals and experience with dealing with local and state government planning teams.
