Our Property Development and Construction Company is one of Sydney's most progressive, fast paced and respected of its kind. We are currently undergoing a company restructure due to our success and require the skills of an outstanding Site Engineer/Administrator to join the team.
ON SITE CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL (MINIMUM 2 YEARS)
The Role:
You will be responsible for the support of the construction team. You will be based on site and you your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Ordering miscellaneous materials as required
- WHS & Quality Management
- Management of Council prmits
- Maintaining site registers
- Planning and coordinating maintenance of site equipment
- Site administration
- Supporting the Site Manager
- Email Management
- Ensuring that contractors are up to date with licences and insurances and undertaking inductions
- Reporting to head office
- Maintaining project administration and databases
- Coordinate site meetings, calendars, events, site tours/visits, documenting meeting minutes and other duties related to project management
- Check supplies for sites such as worker's sheds amenities and safety supplies and equipment
Minimum requirements:
The successful applicant will have:
- Experience working with Residential Apartments
- Exposure to job costing systems such as Jobpac or Cheops
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Strong work ethic
- Common sense
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Professional appearance
- Solid communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues before and when they arise
- Ability to organise, multitask, prioritise, and work under pressure
