Project Engineer
Start: ASAP for the right person
Tenure: Long Term Contract to Perm
We are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer ready for a step up, or Project Manager to join a civil construction company involved in the construction of residential subdivisions based in south Western Sydney. Location of works are within Macarthur, Wollondilly and Wingecarribee areas.
Working closely with the Site Supervisor and Project QA Manager your job role will entail:
- Understanding the implementation of quality assurance procedures, manuals and checklists.
- Assisting in the preparation and review of work method statements.
- Preparation of budgets, estimates and quotes and monitoring of expenses.
- Preparing, updating and monitoring short term production programs.
- Direction, management and supervision of work crews.
- Management of Sub-Contractors across disciplines such as pavements, earthworks, drainage, services and utilities.
- Identify and advise on all contractual and commercial claims related to works
- Managing Site Deliveries/Purchases
- Oversee Quality assurance and safety on site.
To be successful in this position you will have the following skills:
- Tertiary qualifications in civil engineering / Project Management.
- Ideally you will have 3-10 years experience as a Site/Project Engineer working on civil projects
- Experienced in Pavements, Drainage, Utilities construction.
- An understanding of programming and cost tracking and costs to complete with proficiency in industry related software.
- Current NSW drivers license.
