An outstanding opportunity exists for a highly experienced Facilities Maintenance Manager to join our team based at Moura. Reporting directly to the Contract Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring optimal operational performance across this large resources contract.

This is a busy and diverse role with a broad range of responsibilities including:

  • Full responsibility for the daily provision of preventative and reactive maintenance works across two camps
  • Procurement of materials for maintenance works and responsibility for the use of materials already on site and in storage
  • Administration management of maintenance works associated with all camps including the completion and update of all works orders, client asset register, and invoicing for materials and labour
  • Project management of any minor works at any camp, in consultation with the client and within specified budgets
  • Lead, guide and mentor the facilities maintenance team over 8 Trades People to meet contractual requirements and deliver an outstanding customer experience

You will come to us with:

  • Technical expertise and/or trade qualifications in building maintenance, electrical trades or mechanical services. A relevant tertiary qualification is highly desirable
  • Strong people management skills, including subcontractor management experience
  • Previous experience managing a remote site in a service role
  • Proven experience working with budgets and profit / loss reports
  • Experience applying OH&S and Industrial Relations law and regulations to service activities
  • Sound skill preparing and managing work planning and scheduling practices and procedures, and driving continuous improvement
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain an effective customer relationship
  • Experience applying statutory obligations, the Australian Standards, codes of practice and the Building Code of Australia to a service environment
  • A current driver's licence with no restrictions. 

This role will offer a competitive salary, accommodation & meals whilst on site, the roster is 5 and 2; ideally therefor living within a reasonable distance from Moura and surrounding suburbs is essential.
