This national mid tier builder operates in the commercial market generally targeting projects up to $50mil in value.  They have built a business with over $1billion in turnover predominately from Government projects, which remain core to their business strategy.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The Estimating Manager will lead and manage their team of 4 Estimators.  While at the same time work closely with the Pre-Construction Manager, Submissions Coordinator, Construction Manager, Commercial Manager and PM's to provide competitive tenders that cover price, construction methodology, programme, risk mitigation and stakeholder engagement.

Many of the projects will involve ECI components or be D&C, so projects will be won based on the completeness of your tenders and how you address all aspect of a project.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

Due to the nature of the projects they undertake it would be preferred, but not essential, for the person to have experience with a Top Tier or upper Mid Tier contractor working on large complex Government and/or institutional projects.

This role can be managed to suit an Estimating Manager or a Senior Estimator looking to progress into the role.
