SITE FOREMAN /SITE MANAGER
This well established family owned building company have been successfully delivering Refurbishment, Construction & fit-out projects to the club industry for over 21 years thru out NSW and have built a great reputation amongst there clients through delivering an excellent all round service which has resulted in a lot of repeat business.
They currently have requirement s for a Site manager to deliver a Club refurbishment and extension project in the Fairfield area.
As the Site Manager –you will be responsible for;
- Managing all site activities from start to completion and prepare & maintain construction programme.
- Setout works in conjunction with trade contractors.
- Instructing and managing sub contractors and suppliers.
- Co ordinating works on site.
- Taking receipt of deliveries.
- Ensuring project programme is maintained and handover date is achieved.
- Inducting workers and ensuring workplace safety and health requirements are implemented.
- Ensure site is kept safe and clean.
- Maintain the site diary.
- Working with Project Manager to ensure smooth delivery of the project.
- Excellent knowledge of building codes and attention to detail is a must.
The ideal candidate must require the following skills":
- Previous experience in club refurbishments.
- Carpentry background.
- Strong people and communication skills.
- High level organisation and time management skills.
- Have a positive demeanour, as you will be working on an operating and sensitive club occupied site.
