About the role
Our Estimators work closely with the pre-contracts team in evaluating and estimating a tender for review from Senior Management. Our Estimators are directly responsible for:
- Producing accurate estimates on a range of national SMP infrastructure tenders.
- Delegating work including Sub-contractor packages to our Graduate Engineers to source.
- Provide tender winning methodology ideas.
- Ability to produce tender programmes to support the methodology
- Understanding of overhead structures
To be successful in this role, you will need
- 5 years + estimating experience in SMP infrastructure projects. Experience and understanding of multidiscipline projects (Civil, mechanical, electrical) You are not required to be a specialist across all disciplines.
- A strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and develop construction methodologies and programs.
- Thorough knowledge of subcontractors within the industrial construction space.
- Display competence across estimating software, such as Expert Estimator.
