As a result of continued growth nationally, our client is now seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager/ Ops Manager - Asbestos to join their successful team. With a solid reputation in the marketplace and plenty of scope this is a great opportunity to join a leading commercial builder.
Offering a range of construction services to their blue chip clients, the company works across commercial, industrial, production facility and civils sectors to name a few.
Candidates will be experienced, strong contractually, commercially and technicially and hold a Class A Friable Asbestos ticket. You will be running mutliple concurrent projects valued from smaller up to about $2m and responsible for Asbestos Management Control Plans as well as other duties.
The client is looking for candidates with strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills and can mentor the junior members of the team. There may be some regional work so some flexibility in travel may be required.
Reporting to: Construction Manager / State Manager
Essential Qualifications and Requirements:
- Current A Class (Friable) License
- Construction Safety Induction (White) card
- Previous industry experience
- Detailed knowledge of local council and regulatory requirements / standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
