Who you are:

• Experience estimating within the new home construction industry
• Positive attitude
• Ideally used Databuild or a similar program
• Highly organised and have a strong attention to detail
• Enjoy a busy environment
• Have a passion for the industry and want to help people make their home dreams a reality

About the role:

• Sourcing and requesting quotes
• Cross reference plans with specifications
• Procure best quotes from subcontractors and suppliers for materials
• Estimate jobs, create and submit purchase orders for suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Prepare Supervisors site files with relevant documentation in accordance with all relevant codes
• Manage and cost variations to jobs
• Liaise effectively with subbies, suppliers and supervisors to ensure prompt and effective customer service
• Update estimating tool and associated documentation with any price changes for suppliers & sub-contractors
• Manage invoice discrepancies with site supervisor and accounts
• Review cost of goods sold on a regular basis and make relevant recommendations
