Leading Hand Commercial Carpenter
We are a family owned Melbourne based facility services company specialising in commercial building maintenance, de fit and fit out works. Head office is based in the south east and works are performed throughout central Melbourne and suburbs.
We have experienced substantial growth over the past year and are ready to add to our team. We are after a Leading Hand Commercial Carpenter with office de fit and fit out experience to join our team.The preferred candidate will be trade qualified, well presented, self-motivated and keen to develop site management skills.
Work is with large commercial clients in flagship buildings in Melbourne's CBD and surrounds, experience working in an operational environment a must. The role will have a focus on commercial de fit and fit out work.
Requirements:
- Good communication skills
- Be driven to learn & apply themselves to achieve quality outcomes
- Good time management
- Proficient at reading working plans
- Ability to coordinate works within commercial buildings that are tenanted.
- Coordinating works with Building Facility Managers & other stakeholders.
- Coordinating trades, ordering materials.
- Have good understanding of OHS & Environmental practices.
Experience:
- Current drivers license
- Carpentry apprenticeship
- Experience in Commercial fit-outs & de-fits
- Experience using job scheduling software
