The Role
Our Darwin Infrastructure Services Division, which oversees our Asphalt and Spray seal operations are looking for an experienced HSEQ Advisor to join the team. Reporting to the Darwin Manager you will be part of a tight-knit team of 24 specialists.
As the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Advisor you will be responsible for the continued development and support in the implementation of operational safety, health, environment and quality assurance policies and systems, risk management, compliance and training.
Importantly, you will be responsible for providing specialist advice along with delivery of effective HSEQ programs, compliance and for playing your part in developing a culture committed to these programs. Your role will require you to use your working knowledge of relevant Standards (9001, 14001, 4801), legislation and codes of practice to provide guidance and support to team members on site, working closely with the operational and management team.
About you
To be successful in this role you will require the previous experience as an HSEQ professional ideally with construction/heavy industry or manufacturing or related experience with auditing experience, along with the following tertiary qualifications:
- WHS (minimum Diploma level)
- Current Cert IV Training and Assessment would be advantageous
- Qualification in Quality or Environmental Management would be advantageous
