Your new company
My client is a well-established, Tier 3 Design and Construct Apartment Builder Developer based in the inner suburbs. Built on a leadership of Tier 1 Project Managers, my client has 20 years of success in constructing high-end Apartments and Townhouses valued up to $30M for a loyal client base. The company size has quadrupled throughout the past 4 years due to their successes in the market. Due to a number of high profile tenders secured for 2018, they are looking for a Site Manager to join their expanding team to work on exciting up and coming projects scattered throughout Melbourne.
Your new role
- You will be responsible for the Site Management of a range of Apartment projects valued up to $30M.
- Working alongside the Project Manager to ensure the efficient management of day to day operations.
- You will be responsible for conducting toolbox meetings, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring OH&S and quality standards are met.
- Procure building materials, plant and equipment hire and effectively manage site resources.
- Plan future works, endeavour to foresee potential problems and propose alternative solutions.
What you'll need to succeed
- Tertiary qualification relevant to Construction or carpentry trade qualification.
- Multilevel, Basement and D&C experience is preferable.
- Experience as a Site Manager in the delivery of $10M+ Apartment projects is essential.
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have a firm understanding of OH&S and lead projects by example.
