Your new company
HAYS Property is working in partnership with an independent property advisory & project management business who consult blue chip clients across the entire property life-cycle. This modern & forward-thinking company have an extremely healthy pipeline of work which includes both public and private institutional developments on a mixture of greenfield, brownfield and refurbishment projects. Working closely with the senior management & directors, the role will be initially to deliver challenging projects in the education & commercial sectors.
Your new role
- Liaise with each client and their in-house project managers to coordinate, plan and deliver projects
- Communicate clearly and efficiently throughout the duration of every project and with stakeholders at every level.
- Manage the time, budget and scope of works to deliver projects as intended.
- Work through the design, tender, procurement of contractors & consultants, construction delivery and handover phase of each project.
- Manage key client portfolios and be able to work autonomously with these clients.
- Have a sound understanding of Australian infrastructure and building regulations and processes.
What you'll need to succeed
- An experienced Client Side Project Manager with strong construction delivery skills that have been honed in a tier one consulting or contracting company in Australia
- Degree qualified in Construction Management or Construction related degree (Engineering/Architecture/Design)
- Excellent stakeholder management and client relationship building ability
- Previous experience delivering major education or commercial projects both new build and fit-out
- A desire to join a successful boutique company and enjoy the spoils of working in a collaborative environment
