Pacific Industrial Company (PIC) is a highly regarded private company and a recognised leader in the Australian steel fabrication and construction industry. We provide steel design, fabrication and construction services to the construction, mining, oil and gas sectors Australia wide.
PIC has recently been awarded the SMP package for construction of a large scale process plant located South of Perth. PIC are thrilled to be a part of this exciting opportunity – Construction taking place here in WA will play a big part in creating local jobs for local people, we encourage and support local employment.
PIC require experienced Supervisors (Piping & Mechanical) with a strong background in SMP works, to join our onsite team located in the Kwinana Beach area on a nightshift basis. You will be required to work in a lead role and manage, coordinate and monitor all within your work scope until Project completion.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills
- Minimum 5 years demonstrated experience at a Supervisory level;
- Mechanical Trade Qualification;
- Experience with Construction on major project/s;
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results in line with construction schedules ;
- Understand employee relations requirements onsite;
- Sound management and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Responsible for the maximum utilisation of manpower, material and equipment provided for the Project, ensuring all is completed on time and within budget;
- Ensure that quality of works carried out is compliant to Company and Client Specifications;
- Participate in weekly review of job and site coordination meetings;
- Ensure compliance to all PIC OH&S Policies and Procedures;
- Reporting to the Mechanical Superintendent.
