Aquatic Leisure Technologies is the market leader in the swimming pool industry in Western Australia.  We have an exciting opportunity available for an energetic and highly motivated person who is passionate about Customer Service. 

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the purpose of the Construction Manager is to manage and lead the site based fibreglass swimming pool Operations team.

This is an exciting new role that will be responsible for the delivery of the vision and mission across the Operations Team. The role requires both field and office time to ensure hands on management across the department.

Key Accountabilities will include:

  • Ensure safety first across the business
  • Manage the delivery of the daily schedule
  • Manage the employee and contractor network requirements to deliver capacity targets and capabilities   
  • Carry out quality and safety audits across the business
  • Maintain and implement quality procedures
  • Research, implement and deliver training on new products and technology   
  • Manage contractor relationships and negotiations  
  • Plan and report business development activities to management and stakeholders 
  • Assist with both domestic and commercial projects
  • Manage higher level customer engagement
  • Evaluate and report on departmental KPI’s and dashboards
  • Develop and execute business cases for departmental investment and growth

To perform the role successfully you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Strong safety focus
  • Hands on leadership with the ability to switch between strategic and day to day activities with ease
  • Exceptional effective communication skills
  • Experience working in the construction or swimming pool industry
  • Nurture and maintain working relationship to provide a seamless customer experience
  • Flexible approach to change, can shift priorities and manage unexpected events and circumstances and refocus quickly
  • The ability to demonstrate innovation and a passion for continuous improvement  
  • Lead by example with a focus on teamwork and trust
  • Results driven by setting achievable KPI’s and goals while continually looking for ways to improve
  • High level knowledge of building and engineering plans
  • Exceptional customer service, negotiation and problem solving skills, with the ability to be a level-headed, clear communicator
  • Microsoft Office skills, including the ability to compile and generate computerised reports

You will require ;

  • A minimum of a ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence
  • A White Card
