If you are looking to break into a new field within engineering/construction, and have some exposure/experience or interest in contracts, and disputes and dispute resolution work, then this could be the opportunity for you.

We are engaged exclusively to work with a leading national consultancy, who specialise in project management, programming and dispute resolution.
On the back of an uptake in work, they are looking to bring in an individual tMUGL987o become a key member of the construction disputes team.

Primarily you will be assisting senior members of the team, mostly in support or defence of contract variations and claims.

Ideally we need critical thinkers, who have a construction/engineering background, are looking to cross over to the consultancy/client side of work.

You will have engineering, planning or contract administrator background, and be looking to work on complex assignments, and gain specialist experience, in management, claims and disputes.

There are plenty of training provided as well as day to day mentoring with industry experts. It is also the opportunity to work regular hours averaging 40 hours a week.
Requirements:

• Must be degree qualified in a construction related discipline.
• At least 2 years local Australian construction experience
• Site/Project Engineer/Contracts Admin or Planner background
• Experience in planning software such as MS Project or Primevera
• Some exposure to construction claims, and interest in disputes and dispute resolution
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
