Project Manager (Civil)
Top civil contractor with a strong reputation throughout Australia working on utilities projects now in the market seeking a project manager with strong experience working on roads, sub-divisions, earthworks, stormwater & sewer projects
This is great role for someone looking for career development and progression coupled with the opportunity to work on exciting civil projects.
The duties for this project manager role include:
• Developing scopes for jobs in accordance with specification
• Be proactive in identifying opportunities to tender for key projects
• Overseeing works and providing technical advice as and when required
• Developing project management processes
• Creating a budgets in accordance with project delivery
• Commercial and stakeholder management
• Develop a client management plan
• Promoting and expanding the companies scope of works and services
• Ensuring safety on site and leading the project team to ensure efficient project delivery
The ideal candidate will require:
• Tertiary qualification in civil engineering or related discipline
• General civil experience essential
• Post graduate studies will be held in high regard
• Knowledge of building codes and safety laws
• A minimum of 8 years project management experience on civil projects
• Be highly analytical with a knowledge of accounting software
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
