Introduction

This role will take responsibility for contract management and service delivery across the Sydney operations for a national cleaning service provider.

The position will focus on the profitable management of cleaning contracts whilst ensuring services are delivered to the specified quality standard and to enhance the company's reputation as a premium service provider and risk manager.

Main Accountabilities & Responsibilities

The role will involve:

1) Understanding our contractual responsibilities in servicing each contract

2) Building relationships with our customers and responding to their requirements

3) Managing a team of area and site managers responsible for each individual site

4) Ultimate responsibility for delivering the required quality standard across the portfolio

5) Ensuring that all services are delivered within our framework for occupational health, safety and sustainability

6) Pricing and quoting for new and additional contract services

7) Maximising company profitability in achieving the above

Skills/Experience Required

The ideal candidate is likely to have experience in managing service contracts although this will may not have been in the cleaning industry.

For example, this role might suit someone who has worked in construction or building services and is experienced in delivering quality outcomes within a fixed budget, managing a team of people.

The ideal applicant will possess the following relevant skills:

· Strong organisational skills

· Good relationship building skills

· Good project management

· Basic competence in Microsoft Office software i.e Outlook Word, Excel

· Solid mental arithmetic

Work Hours

Customer requirements run from the start of the business day until late into the evening when cleaning shifts are completed.

Work hours are therefore flexible to achieve business objectives but success in this role will involve some commitment to managing in the evening when the bulk of our operations are undertaken.
