Method Consulting is seeking a well-rounded SITE MANAGER who is able to work across Commercial Construction + Property + Maintenance (within the one company).
Your first / initial project will be building a small Tilt Panel Warehouse and Office Development whilst working closely with the duel CA / PM. Our client builds Commercial and Industrial properties for themselves and for external clients. They have their own growing property portfolio which they build, lease and look after which is where Property Maintenance comes into the role. They have other packages of land which are primed for new development and once built need to be maintained - making this a very unique opportunity. You will have variety and will be involved in looking after multiple sites.
Our client is seeking dynamic and energetic Site Manager with a Carpentry background and Tilt Panel experience (Tilt Panel Supervisor Ticket is very important). A healthy salary package and vehicle are on offer for the right individual.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure all work is executed and carried out safely to the highest quality
- Coordinate and manage all trades / subcontractors
- Run your sites to plan and in accordance to specification
- Liaison with client ensuring successful delivery of project to schedule
- Problem solving
- Develop and maintain a close working relationship with Suppliers and Sub-contractors
- Toolbox meetings / Site Inductions
- Health & Safety
- Take delivery of materials
- Interpret and read plans
- Problem solving and dispute resolution
- Ensure site is kept clean and tidy
Skills, Experience and Attributes:
- Building Tertiary qualification i.e. Carpentry and Joinery
- Tilt Panel Supervisor Ticket (current)
- Proven ability to problem solve complex issues
- Multi-tasking is very important
- 5 + years’ experience
- Must be motivated, driven and have energy
- Be able to work under pressure
- High attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Very important to be able to prioritise
- Strong Health and Safety
- Ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders i.e. tenants
- Commercially astute
- Effective communication and people skills
- Dynamic and reliable
- Clean Drivers License
