About the Employer
Our client remains the partner of choice for professionals seeking to create liveable Australian open spaces. They partner with local governments, developers, architects and landscape contractors to manufacture and install great looking outdoor furniture and shelters for Australian open spaces. They create both urban furniture and landscape structures and have a dynamic team, create quality products and have a reputable local presence.
They service clients with their experienced Western Australian product design team, local Perth based manufacturing facilities and knowledgeable installation teams.
About the Role
This role will ensure customers experience an exceptional level of care and service post-sale and you will be responsible to manage projects to ensure they are delivered on time and on budget.
Key responsibilities will include
- Managing project timelines and maintaining close communication with clients during project/order
- Ensuring achievement of project deadlines
- Being accountable for project budgets
- Collaborating with Production Coordinator and assisting in scheduling, attending production meetings
- Engaging and coordinating subcontractors to carry out site works
- Managing internal WHS and site safety, environmental and quality
- Lodging planning development, building and demolition permit applications
- Coordinating dispatch of customer orders, calling customers to confirm details and delivery timing, booking transport
- Estimation of project costs as required by Sales
- Contributing to and implementing improvements in Operations
- General administrative tasks as required
- Reporting on key KPI’s
- Proficiency in managing projects with multiple inputs, resources and stakeholders – delivering on time and on budget
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated critical, creative thinking and analytical skills
- Excellent time and task management
- Diligence in filing and adminsitrative tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and Excel
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar role
- Demonstrated understanding of this role
- A Diploma of Project Management will be viewed favourably
- A willing and can-do attitude
- Self-motivation and a drive to achieve
