RTL Mining and Earthworks is seeking to recruit an experienced Estimator, to join the team in a permanent full-time capacity across our sites situated in the Latrobe Valley Victoria.

As the RTL Mining and Earthworks Estimator you will be accountable for:

• Developing accurate tenders that are practically achievable with due consideration to the scope of works.
• Identifying innovative solutions in building the estimate to provide a competitive advantage during the tender stage.
• Identifying risks and opportunities associated with the tender estimate.
• Establishing and implementing best practice tender processes that meet the needs of the RTL business.

Applicants should also possess the following qualifications/attributes:

• Ability to work autonomously and self-driven;

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or Surveying;
• High level of proficiency in MS Office and CATS or equivalent estimating software;
• Thorough understanding of commercial and legal contractual conditions;
• Demonstrated ability to work to tight deadlines;
• Able to function effectively within a small and dynamic team environment;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills;
• Minimum 5+ years estimating construction and earthwork projects.

Successful applicants will be required to successfully complete a pre-employment medical, which will involve drug and alcohol testing.
